THE NEW IPAD AIR! (PHOTOS)!
Vietnamese blog tinhte.vn claims to have gotten a hold of the new iPad Air that will be announced on October 16th.
The leaks show the next generation iPad to be mostly identical to the current iPad Air, but with some notable changes. Aside from thinness, the iPad now features a ‘glass’ (likely sapphire) Touch ID home button to match previous rumors. Interestingly, the side shots of the device appear to lack a mute switch. According to the blog the new iPad is just 7mm thick.

Apple 12-inch tablet may adopt Mac OS, iOS-integrated operating system
Apple 12-inch tablet may adopt Mac OS, iOS-integrated operating system

Apple's rumored 12-inch tablet, which is said to be scheduled for release in 2015, may become the vendor's first device to feature an operating system that integrates Mac OS and iOS, according to rumors in the upstream supply chain. However, the rumor was not confirmed by Apple.
Sources in the supply chain say that Apple has two 12.9-inch tablet prototypes in development: one is a 2-in-1 device and the other is a regular tablet. However, whether Apple will release both devices to the market or just one, still remains unclear. The device is rumored to be expected to enter mass production in early 2015.
The sources pointed out that Apple's Mac OS 10.10 Yosemite, unveiled at WWDC 2014, showed many features that are very similar to those seen in iOS such as calendar, notification center and phone function. Apple has also recently applied patents for the voice assistance function for Mac, which is believed to be the Siri of the Mac.
In addition to Apple, Microsoft and Google have also been aggressively integrating their operating systems. Microsoft's next-generation operating system Windows 10 will be compatible in PC and mobile devices.
